About This Site
ABC Department Store has created this website as a  platform to deliver training, employee feedback, and resource links to valuable information in order to build your knowledge and skills in the area of selling by identifying creative solutions to customer problems, easing the customer buying process and following through after the sale is made. The company depends on your selling ability in order to build relationships with our customers by being attentive to customer needs and showing commitment to meet our customer needs over time. HR wants this training program to not only be educational but motivational towards equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the selling process!
Training instructions:
The training outline was developed so that all trainees will have a consistent and thorough background. Whether you have selling experience or not, the self-paced training will provide an introduction to the selling process along with learning activities to apply the knowledge obtained through the training program. At the end of the training an assessment of your knowledge will be assessed in the form of a multiple choice test. We have also provided a review section that contains an overview of the knowledge and skills related to the selling process along with answers to both the Case Studies and Assessment. We have provided explanations to the answers as well. After completing the training program, please take a moment and complete our evaluation of our training program so that we can improve the program in order to meet the needs of our valuable employees. There are 5 parts to this training session. Please navigate through each of the training tabs above. Beginning with the Presentation Tab. After viewing the PowerPoint Presentation click on the Application tab, proceed to the Assessment tab for testing, next go to the Review Tab, and lastly, take our training program Evaluation.
Outline
Presentation Tab:
This is a PowerPoint presentation that effectively introduces the trainee to the selling process. After viewing continue on by clicking the Application tab.
Application Tab:
Presents real life case scenarios that relate to ethical situations entitled What Would You Do?  After reading the case, decide among 3 possible answers that may reflect What Would You Do given the choice? After you have finished reading and choosing your answers, please click the submit button.
Assessment Tab
After viewing the PowerPoint Presentation and participating in the Case Study learning activity, please click on the assessment tab and take the assessment test to assess your knowledge and skills based on the information presented through the presentation and learning activity. After you have completed the assessment click the submit button.
Review Tab
This page provides an overview of the topic of selling and the answers to both the case scenarios and the assessment answers with explanation. Print this page as a reference.


Evaluation Tab
The evaluation of our training program has been created so that we can improve the program in order to meet the needs of our valuable employees. After completing the survey, please click the submit button.
Discussion/feedback Tab
This is a place where you can make comments, address concerns, or make suggestions related to our training program. An HR representative will respond to any and all questions within 24 hours. 
Conclusion
This concludes the official training program but feel free to click on our resource links that will provide additional information related to retail and selling.
